  1. Your profile picture

    collect to favorites

    If you login using an existing social network, creative.ly will use your profile picture from that social network.

    If you logged in by giving your e-mail address, username, and password, then you can add your profile picture using the service gravatar.com. Just be sure to use the same e-mail address that you did when you signed up with creative.ly .

  3. Collect an Image on creative.ly

    Collect by Clicking the Link:

    When you're on Creative.ly, on the right hand side of any large format image you can collect it to Favorites just by clicking on a link that says "Collect to Favorites".

    Collect by Dragging:

    You can also collect images to any of your other Collections by dragging-and-dropping them into the wells on the left. Just drop them in and kapow! That's it.

  5. Create a new Collection

    Below your collections wells on the left you'll find a handy little box for making new Collections. Just enter the name you want and hit Enter.

  6. View an Image

    Just click on any image of any size to view the large version, including whatever info we have on who posted it, where it's from, and who created it.

  7. Change sizes



    When you are looking at search results or a collection, you can change the size of the images you see. Just click on the size indicator in the upper left corner of the screen (visible when looking at search results or the contents of the collection). By clicking on the different size links, you can view small thumbnails or larger images.

  8. Tag an Image

    add tagsWhen viewing the large version of any image, you can Add Tags in the right column. Just type in your new tag and hit Enter. To enter multiple tags at once, just separate the tags by a comma ",".

  9. Remove an Image

    That's an awesome idea! Why didn't we think of that! Oh, wait, we did. We just haven't had time to code it yet. Sorry... stand by for an awesome remove function as soon as we can get the monkeys back to work!

  10. Nudity

    In the upper right corner of the browser is a "Safe Filter". Set it to off if you want to see nudity.

    When you import an image, be sure to check the "Contains Nudity" box if the image contains nudity.

    If you see an image that's not appropriate for viewing while at work due to nudity or anything extreme, flag the image. If we find that an image gets flagged a lot, we will take a peek and see if it is particularly offensive or does any of the things prohibited by our Terms of Service. You can help out the community by Flagging such images. You'll find Flag in the right column next to any large view image.

  11. Community guidelines

    • Avoid anything pornographic. Nudity is okay, so long as you mark it as "not safe for work" when you import an image.
    • Post quality images
    • Consider copyright and what the creator would desire. Do not violate copyright.
    • Play nice
    • Have fun
